Local-first labels

Privacy by design
ChatShelf reads the minimum ChatGPT data needed for its visible features. Chat metadata is used for dates and grouping. Full conversation content is read when you explicitly export a chat for AI handoff. Authentication data may be used transiently in memory only for same-origin ChatGPT requests and is not stored by ChatShelf or sent to the developer.
Website analytics, when enabled, is loaded only after consent and is separate from extension data.
What ChatShelf does not do
